Thanksgiving Weekend

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend.  I worked Thursday night and was off the weekend.  We had a nice Thanksgiving dinner with family.  Saturday I took my youngest to my nieces skating party.  This was her first time roller skating. She loved it.  We also put out our Elf on the Shelf.  She has talked about nothing since!! We also watched the TV show the other night.  I DVR'd it and we have been watching it several times a day. Uggh!

I also bought the Gnome pattern from Wee Wonderfuls and plan to use it to make the Mr. and Mrs. Clause she has a tut for on her blog.  I can't say enough how much I love her blog.

A different doll maker that I have admired for a long time is Revoluzzza.  I am obsessed with Red Riding Hood  and she makes the cutest one ever!!  Also I bought one of her patterns for a gnome or dwarf.  Soo cute!!  She has a wonderful blog, and if you use Google chrome it translates it from German!!  She also sent her pattern in English.  She makes all of her precious dolls from organic materials and so many cute things.  Why is it all European things seem so amazing?    Unfortunately I am back to work tonight and Monday, so my sewing will have to wait.  I hope to get started this week though!!  Have a great Monday!

Obsessed with Gnomes

I have been MIA for a while, I know.  I had kinda lost my crafting mojo.  Halloween and fall are my favorite time of the year and I just wasn't feeling it this year.  However, I am back!!  I have been quilting and doll making.  I know I have said I have several patterns that I need to finish and that is on my to do list.

Right now I am obsessed with gnomes, thanks to Hillary Langs Mr and Mrs Gnome pattern.  I also have her Wee Wonderfuls book and love everything in it.  Here is a link to the pattern, which I am going to have to break down and buy since I look at it 20 times a day.  PATTERN!

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving day.
